It's Back!

It's Back!

We're delighted to be offering round 3 of one of our favorite programs (well, they're all our favorites, but you know what I mean)!  Camera Basics: Beyond Automatic is back, led by an all-star cast of experienced program mentors including Heiko Mahr, Linda Villers, Lou McCorkle, Darla Hueske, Ellie Kennard, Doug Welch, Ugo Cei and special guest star Eric Raeber, plus a wonderful group of alumni from our first two sessions.  Watch for the official signup post on Saturday with all the details!

Please note that signups will not be first come, first served; the post will remain open for several days, so please don't panic if you're not first on the list.  Be sure to follow this page for all the info, and please contact program directors Robin Griggs Wood, Ron Clifford and Alex Lapidus if you might be interested in mentoring other photographers.

  1. Joshua Domenzain  Take a look at the signup post, which is now up; you can see more information about the program and the selection criteria.  The program is aimed at active beginning to intermediate photographers who would like to take more control of their cameras and images.

  2. Hi Lisa Gray, we're not so worried about the deadline, but the Program is aimed at active members of the G+ photography community.  We know you come highly recommended; while nothing is certain, we expect to run Camera Basics: Beyond Automatic again in the future, so perhaps if you settle in and establish a presence here, you'll be a great candidate for round 4.

I think the signup post contains information and a link on what makes someone a good candidate for the program.  If you'd like more info, feel free to contact me (Alex Lapidus)) anytime; you may also get a note from one of the other CB:BA mentors, and, of course, Lauri knows all these things :-).
