Great work from your time in Sam Breach's mentorship, Stephen!

For anyone who has read this far, consider mentoring someone else here (or more) ... some people don't even know where to start with their cameras and you could be the change they need in their lives. Even the smallest bit of knowledge can be passed on and you can create your mentorship in many different ways. Imagine the feeling of taking someone to their next level, paying forward the knowledge you've received and watching someone blossom with enthusiasm and accomplishment!

This album represents the culmination of 8 weeks work on a  mentorship programme about subject isolation techniques, run by the excellent Sam Breach . Sam has been so helpful and encouraging throughout.

We learned how to use colour, light, shade, PoV and DoF to isolate the main subject in an image, conducting well thought out exercises to demonstrate these techniques. It has been a wonderful learning experience, thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end. Lots of new friendships have been made, which I'm sure will continue now the mentorship is over.

Anyone wishing to improve their photography skills and knowledge should really consider enrolling on one of these programmes. I recommend it wholeheartedly!
