Julia Maynard shares her thoughts about her time mentoring others through her "Inspiration Between Seasons"...

Julia Maynard shares her thoughts about her time mentoring others through her "Inspiration Between Seasons" mentorship and we include here, along with her words, her shares of her mentees final presentation albums. Congratulations to FotoAgnieszka Ambro.  Enjoy everyone!

From Julia: The Inspiration Between Seasons Mentorship I have been running in the +G+ Mentorship Program for Photographers facilitated by +Robin Griggs Wood, +Alex Lapidus, and +Ron Clifford is coming to a close. In the coming days, I will be posting my mentees Final Presentation projects, a final album which spoke of their Photographic Vision and Style based on the weekly assignments. I am very proud of each them: +Richard Adams, +FotoAgnieszka Ambro, +Jason Lien, +Greg Klebus, +Renee McDaniel, +Claude Parent, +Angie Phillips, +Stephen Thackeray, and +Chandler L. Walker

Below are some parting words about this experience.

For me, success is about effort, and my mentees accomplished success in style and grace! Each of these outstanding individuals has reason to celebrate their success; they were triumphant in many ways, but mostly because they worked hard and they tried putting forth the effort to achieve the weekly goals presented to them! And oh what beautiful art they all produced; I am PROUD!!

For anyone who has read this far, consider mentoring someone else here; mentoring changes lives. Even the smallest bit of knowledge can be passed on. Join the ranks of the outstanding people who've volunteered a small amount of their time to help others through the +G+ Mentorship Program for Photographers!!

“Sometimes we look for those thunderous things to happen in our life for our lives to change or go in the other direction. We seek the miracle. We seek the parting of the seas, the moving of the mountains. But no, it's a quiet thing. At least for me it is.” ~Ben Vereen

This is my graduation album, completed during my second mentorship on G+.

For the past 7 weeks I have been participating in mentorship program “Inspiration Between Seasons Mentorship” guided by @102523461592416377996, in collaboration with @105385385448524520257. Seven weeks have flown between readings of theory and various assignments.

I found all topics very interesting such as: shapes, patterns and silhouettes, they were entirely new for me. I was very enthused by the silhouette photography, I would still continue to seek this type of images.

In my opinion the week of B§W photography was also very interesting. I tried new techniques, I tried to take photo in low key and high key. At the beginning it was very difficult for me, but at the end I fell in love especially with low key. I would like to apply this technique in my street photography.

During the week dedicated to dramatic sky I realized how it is such an important element in landscape photography. I've totally changed my vision, now the bad weather will get me out more often. When the sky is clear and blue and the sun is shining I will go to photograph something else.

This mentorship gave me new ideas for my pictures, I have improved my knowledge and I am very grateful to Julia for accepting me in her group.

Thank you so much for your time!
