They say time flies when you are having fun. How these past six weeks have flown by!
It has been an absolute pleasure being a Mentor for a group of talented, creative, caring, sharing and remarkable photographers in the Practice Makes Perfect Magic Mentorship through +G+Mentorship Program for Photographers.

There, indeed, was magic created with cameras. But, more importantly, the magic really began when all involved began sharing much more than f stops, shutter speeds, and lessons. The community began sharing from their creative hearts. 

What began as a group of strangers and some already formed acquaintances, has turned into a community of friends that will continue to support each other outside of this experience.

I have had the pleasure of being both a menthe and now a mentor in a mentorship offered by +G+ Mentorship Program for Photographers. If you have the opportunity to be either, I highly recommend it!

For anyone who has read this far, consider mentoring someone else here (or more) ... some people don't even know where to start with their cameras and you could be the change they need in their lives. Even the smallest bit of knowledge can be passed on and you can create your mentorship in many different ways. Imagine the feeling of taking someone to their next level, paying forward the knowledge you've received and watching someone blossom with enthusiasm and accomplishment!

This is the #FinalPLUSpost   for Practice Makes Perfect Magic, a mentorship with the magical Mary Presson Roberts  #PMPM  

It was a great six weeks lasting experience showing us that not only the rules of physics or the rules of photographic art are important to get amazing photos. Its often the little things you have to care for that make the difference between a boring photo and an awesome shot. 
And that it is often not enough to look with only one eye (the one you use to look through the view finder) at a scene. You have to use your heart and your spirit too to see the big picture. 
We learned to take care for the right time of the day to get the best result. Is it more the cold blue of the blue hour that underlines your object or should you better use the warm tones of a sunset? 
Is it helpful to first have a look for disturbing subjects in the scene you like to capture or in the other way is it good to put something into the frame that wasn´t there yet?
And there was so much more that we had to practice.
All these little things beyond the big rules that most of us know make it easier to take good photos when we just practice them. 

Beside the learning of all this stuff there was another wonderful experience. It was great to meet this group of mentees. So many kind, helpful and friendly people to know is awesome.
