IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM GOOGLE

in the new Google Plus UI in communities you will need to go in and switch this toggle on to see posts in chronological order, if you don't, posts will be ranked and your post may drop out of sight.

This is not in the control of the community owner or moderators and must be done by every member of the community individually.

    It doesn't actually help your own post position if you switch the toggle, as it's only your own viewing of the community which is affected by your setting. Your own posts may well slip to the bottom of the community as far as other people's viewing goes, unless everyone switches that to chronological. Shame.
