"This mentorship has changed me which is now reflected in my photography... I have been transformed from a person who timidly observed street activity to someone who embraces the passionate, ever changing joy of life on the street." Carmen Mandich
Thank you so much, Carmen, for sharing your thoughts and work from your time in teresa pilcher's "Finding Your Vision" mentorship!

For anyone who has read this far, consider mentoring someone else here (or more) ... some people don't even know where to start with their cameras and you could be the change they need in their lives. Even the smallest bit of knowledge can be passed on and you can create your mentorship in many different ways. Imagine the feeling of taking someone to their next level, paying forward the knowledge you've received and watching someone blossom with enthusiasm and accomplishment! ~Final Plus Post and Graduation Album - Finding Your Vision Mentorship 2018~ #FYV2018
The first week of this mentorship we were asked to define our vision of street photography. My view was "the challenge comes in being able to isolate that one scene that tells a story, creates a mood or stirs an emotion." While participating in the eight week 2018 Finding Your Vision mentorship on Street Photography I have been transformed from a person who timidly observed street activity to someone who embraces the passionate, ever changing joy of life on the street. Like being in love, I am now more aware of details; light and shadow, colors, action, emotions, conflicts and stories. Life continuously changes and I have learned to be confident on the street while savouring the individual spices which make street photography so appetizing. This mentorship has changed me which is now reflected in my photography. Street no longer frightens me. It beckens me to continue experimenting with new flavors while enriching my own life.
Thank you teresa pilcher for offering this invitation to life with your expertly designed techniques which introduced us into society so gracefully while giving us self confidence in our abilities. You have opened my eyes and shown me places that I had not seen in my own city. You have illuminated my city like no one else.
Thank you to all the mentors and fellow mentees for dancing on the street and cheering every step with constructive ideas and examples. Feeling the rhythm of your streets has inspired me throughout this wonderful experience and it will continue to do so as I return to enjoy the memories of our time together while looking forward to our growing friendship.
Thank you to G+ Mentorship Program for Photographers for enriching our lives with the many mentorships you offer. To quote one of the extremely generous mentors in Finding Your Vision 2018 "these mentorships give more than knowledge - they give friendships".... Both online and in real life! This is truly an experience in life! It's easy and it's fun! Live it!! Love it!! Keep on dancing!! º\o/º
