_"So - When do we BLURR?

When smoke, as not to say tears get in our eyes.
When one isn't wearing his glasses.
When you want to force the alert eye to take a second glance to capture the whole picture.
Inclining a long gone by memory.
When we want to draw the observer's attention to colors, changing light and shapes like in impressionism paintings.
When we want to express , the loss of orientation or create an air of fear and uneasiness.

"Blur and Unsharp Photography" gives us a powerful tool at hand to achieve all these possible expressions in our photography. So why stick to sharpness when there is a whole new challenging universe to be discovered?"_ --Nicole Ina Michel

Thanks, Nicole, for sharing your experiences from the recent Blurs and Unsharp Photography: Guided Play 2016 program with Alex Lapidus!

For anyone who has read this far, consider mentoring someone else here (or more) ... some people don't even know where to start with their cameras and you could be the change they need in their lives. Even the smallest bit of knowledge can be passed on and you can create your mentorship in many different ways. Imagine the feeling of taking someone to their next level, paying forward the knowledge you've received and watching someone blossom with enthusiasm and accomplishment!

Re-shareing my Final Plus Post for "Blur and Unsharp Photography"

When do we BLURR?

Being a participant of the G+ Mentorship Program for Photographers, "Blur and Unsharp Photography", a guided play by Alex Lapidus, curated by Robin Griggs Wood this is a fair question to be asked. Is it only a technique to be learned or is it a tool that opens up a wide range of possibilities to our skills as photographers?
